Music

We have a thriving musical culture at Cranleigh C of E Primary. This has been created through our commitment to offer specialist instrumental lessons, experiential learning opportunities, participation in community events and ensuring our non-specialist teaching staff have a secure understanding of the curriculum they teach.

We use Charanga, a multi-award-winning music programme, to teach our Music lessons.

All curriculum documents can be found below.

We also offer weekly lessons in drums, guitar and ukulele delivered by specialists from The Music Works; the opportunity to join our school choir which practices each week and regularly performs at local community events and establishments; and visits to watch and listen to many different types of music at Cranleigh Arts Centre (recently, this has included a flute and harp performance, and jazz guitar).
