HEADTEACHER'S MESSAGES
This week, we received final confirmation that Cranleigh C of E Primary School will be joining The Good Shepherd Trust on 1st March. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for the entire school community and we look forward to continuing our journey with them.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of our Interim Executive Board (IEB) for their invaluable support, dedication and hard work this past year. They will remain in role until the date of academisation.
I can't quite believe we have reached the halfway point of the 23/24 academic year! As I look back on the year so far, there are so many things to be thankful for. Our children who are kind, inquisitive and make me laugh on a daily basis! The support of our community - thank you to you all for understanding the school's journey and supporting us along the way. My dedicated staff - without them, all 'this' would just not be possible!
Next half-term, we will be thinking about the value of forgiveness. The Church of England provides well-being support on this theme. It states: 'Forgiveness takes time, but God is patient. And has our best interest at heart: God knows that in forgiveness, we will always find healing and freedom, however long and painful the road to get there.' We look forward to exploring this value with our children.
School returns for the children after half-term on TUESDAY 20TH FEBRUARY.
We hope you all have a wonderful half-term and look forward to seeing you then.
