On Wednesday, you should have all received an email with the link to our second parent survey of the academic year. Your support is vital to the school's success and we kindly ask you all to complete.
The survey will close on Monday at 6pm; however, if you need more time, or any support to access, please just get in touch.
Thank you to everyone who has been able to complete so far!

An out-of-this-world start to 2024!
Our Year 5 children had a galactic start to term with a planetarium experience on Wednesday.
They learnt about the solar system, what older stars look like and the names of constellations, amongst other things!

Following his in-person visit to school on 15th November, Gypsy/Roma author Richard O'Neill paid all our children a virtual visit yesterday to tell some more of his amazing stories.
Storytelling is so important if we are to build connections, confidence, and learn about the world around us. Our children had a wonderful time, as before.

The Big Garden Birdwatch is the world’s largest garden wildlife survey. Every year, hundreds of thousands of nature lovers take part, helping to build a picture of how garden birds are faring.
I love taking part each year, and it only needs 1 hour on one day between 26th and 28th January. You don't even need your own garden.

Balloon Buggies!
Year 6 have been making phenomenal balloon buggies this week. This afternoon, I joined them for their evaluative buggy race in the hall. There were fantastic conversations about improvement and design features. We definitely have some engineers amongst us.
Well done, Year 6!

A.A. Milne is most famous for his two Pooh books about a boy named Christopher Robin. The character was named after his son and various other characters were inspired by his son's stuffed animals, most notably his bear named Winnie-the-Pooh.
Read more HERE.
|
|
On January 18th, it is National Winnie the Pooh Day.
It would be wonderful to see photos of our children reading A.A. Milne's stories, or being read to. There are lots of online stories too!
